Pay Your Fine – Violations Bureau Cases

Many minor traffic violations cases can be dealt with using the Show Me Courts (SMC) system. You would have the option to enter a guilty plea and pay the Fine and Court Costs due on the case without needing to make an appearance in Court. This option is only available to you until Midnight on the scheduled date of your Initial Appearance in Court. That is the Court date shown on your citation.

No one from a court will ever contact you by phone and ask for payment or credit card information.

If you use a credit/debit card for Plead and Pay, a convenience fee will be assessed based on the amount of the transaction. There is a .50 cent flat rate when payment is made by electronic check.

Plead and Pay Your Traffic Ticket Without Having to Go to Court

Use Plead and Pay to plead guilty and pay certain traffic tickets online without having to appear in court. If you prefer not to pay through Plead and Pay, please refer to the options on your ticket. If you desire to plead not guilty to the charge(s), you must appear in the court designated on your ticket.

How to Get Started

Search by case number or litigant name to find your case on Case.net. Once you have found your case, click Plead and Pay to see your fine and court costs. If you click Plead and Pay to see your fine and court costs, you are NOT pleading guilty. You must complete the entire process and receive a final confirmation of your guilty plea and payment.

Certain conservation, traffic and watercraft citations do not require a court appearance and use a statewide uniform fine schedule. To find out more information regarding your citation, search Case.net.
