COURT ROOM ATTIRE AND RULES
Before entering the court proceeding you will be screened for weapons and other illegal items as no weapons are allowed. Proper attire is required. There are special rules for cell phones or other electronic devices. Young children are not allowed in the Courtroom but may wait with another adult from your party in the Courtroom vestibule.
Appropriate attire shall be worn while in Court. Inappropriate attire includes tank tops, sleeveless shirts, crop shirts, shorts, sweatpants, lounge pants, pajamas, t-shirts depicting inappropriate photos or language.
Appropriate shoes shall be worn while in Court. Inappropriate shoes include flip flops, slippers and house shoes. Hats or caps must be removed while in the Courtroom. Violation of this prohibition will result in your case being placed on recall for one hour to give you time to change into appropriate clothing/shoes and return to court. Subsequent violations of this prohibition may be viewed by the Court as contempt, resulting in jail.
Food and/or beverages are not allowed in the Courtroom.
MOBILE DEVICES
Cell phones and other mobile devices are generally not allowed in our Courtroom except for Attorneys. Please check with the Bailiff.
